NOOSA TRI
The biggest and best triathlon in Australia is back on this weekend. Noosa is more than a race and there is nothing like it in anywhere else in Australia. Along with our Tri Alliance friends from Melbourne we’ll have around 150 athletes racing and partying.
We’ll be placing the tents in the usual place across the Bridge on Noosa Parade as a meeting point. On race day Elite Sports Massage and UQ Sports & Rehab will be on hand for massage and physio. There will be post race drinks and bbq so family friends are all welcome to join us.
From the whole team at Tri Alliance good luck to everyone racing this weekend especially to those doing their first Noosa. We look forward to seeing you out on the course.
TRAINING PHOTO OF THE MONTH
Thanks to everyone that submitted photos for the training photo of the month. We’ll announce the winner next week after Brett from Elite Sports Massage makes his judgment. The winning photo will receive a $50 voucher from Shoes Feet Gear at Paddington.
TRAINING
Due to Noosa, there is no Friday morning session this week. Our Saturday morning session and monthly breakfast will be in Noosa and post race the first session back is Tuesday night swimming.
After Noosa we’ll go into a maintenance phase until Christmas break before building again in the new year for the 2013 races. The Busso athletes only have a few weeks left so they’re in the hardest phase of training at the moment before tapering a couple of weeks out.
