WORD FROM THE COACHES
Our pre-season QUEENSCLIFF CAMP is currently in jeopardy with numbers below that which is needed to finance and run it. This camp is a great transition into our speed phase and the 3 day weekend staying at the YMCA lodges is comfortable with flat fast roads nearby, running tracks and trails and a swim at Portarlington on the cards. We encourage athletes to book in and make this camp as good as Lorne was.
FINAL numbers are needed by midday THIS FRIDAY and a decision will then be made to go-ahead or cancel. Please use the following link to book or chat with your coach if you have any specific questions about the camp:

It was perfect Duathlon racing conditions on Sunday in Richmond for the first in the Victorian Series compromising of 3 events. We had a small crew racing that included Stephen Bond, Megan Cahill, Monty Cooper, Sheridan Brown and Steph Anderson. Solid winter training showed with some great results – Monty taking out his category as did Stephen (even after a morning in the hills on Saturday!). Great work all guys and we look forward to race 2 in a few weeks on 2nd September. Entries open now here: Victorian Duathlon Series
In other racing we had a few athletes head interstate and run the City2Surf in Sydney with 60,000 others. Good work and hope you pulled up ok.
TEAM MEETING – THIS THURSDAY
Our next team meeting is this Thursday at Elwood Sailing Club starting at 6:30pm. We hope to see you all there for this important session in the calendar. Updates will be given around the squad cover the current and next phases of training along-side the importance of and why we run time trials across the three disciplines. We have some new merchandise to show with Tri-Alliance Trucker Caps being on sale for $25 cash on the night. And Coach Paddy will be covering off wearing the Green and Gold at the Worlds on the Gold Cost next year and how to get there!
We also have Mizuno Running Australia coming along with one of their product specialists to give a tech talk and info session on the current range of runners. Claire (also a qualified podiatrist) will run through the shoes giving insight into their features and which model would suit you best based on your goals and running style. If you are able to make it early there will be an opportunity to have a run in a demo pair of runners from 5:30pm.
Please check out the full agenda and confirm your attendance on this event page:
