QTS ROBINA

Race two of the QTS series at Robina this weekend is now sold out.  If you are racing, you can rack bikes on the Saturday afternoon and make a weekend of it.  We’ll have massage support from the team at Gold Coast Physio and Sports Health www.mygcphysio.com.au

We will also have race packs to distribute for Tri Alliance members at the tent.

TRAINING

Now that Noosa is behind us the time between now and Christmas is about maintaining fitness, rather than trying to improve on it.  Reducing volume, having some down time and relaxing a little while still doing some training will keep you fresh and motivated for the New Year.

In the New Year we have more QTS races, the last 2 rounds of the Tri Qld Club Champs and Mooloolaba.  For that reason it is important to ensure that you have a break of a couple of weeks and reduce your training load.  The way to improving is consistent training and regular breaks.

The long course program will re commence in January after Busso with a big build up into Cairns IM and 70.3IM in June.  Entries open for the 70.3IM in a couple of weeks and it appears as though we’ll have close to 50 people heading to Cairns for both the IM and 70.3IM.

Also please note Monday night swim will go back to double swim sessions from next week.
